HR Consultancy is an important part of what the owner of the company does. Having joined the British Army in 1991, James Heppe-Smith served in a number of locations and roles, all of them with an element of HR. His last posting in the Army was as the head of civilian HR in Paderborn, Germany.

James has also served in many countries around the world, from short term deployments to Poland, Romania, Canada and the United States - to longer term postings in the Falkland Islands, Germany and the United Kingdom - and life on operations in Kuwait, Iraq and the Balkans.

All of these experiences are brought to use in his HR Consultant role. Be it for an interim appointment, or for a regular advisory role - he is experienced in International HRM, dealing with Works Councils, setting up HR Policy, Change Management and succession planning.
